Why does a trader need a journal?
A journal turns random trades into measurable data: win rate, RR, sessions and mistakes. Without it you repeat the same errors and cannot see what actually works.
Is Sentrage safe?
Yes. Your trades and notes are stored locally on your computer. Sentrage does not execute trades and does not withdraw funds — it only records and analyzes your history.
Where is my data stored?
Journal, discipline marks and settings stay on your device. MT5 sync uses a local bridge on your PC — nothing is uploaded except optional AI chat messages you send yourself.
Do I need to pay for basic features?
No. Journal, analytics, AI Coach and the free AI assistant work without payment. Subscriptions are optional and can be enabled in Settings → Visible sections.
How does MT5 sync work?
Open MetaTrader 5 and log into your account while Sentrage App is running. Trades are copied into the journal automatically.
Journal — how to use
How do I add a trade manually?
Open Journal → Trades, fill pair, direction, session, result and P/L, then tap Add trade. Manual entries work without MT5 or webhooks.
How do filters and search work?
Use the filter bar above the table: session, result, status, date range and text search. Filters apply to analytics and Key Metrics too.
Can I edit or delete a trade?
Click a row to edit fields inline. Delete is blocked while a live MT5 position is still open — close it first from Active Trades.
How does auto-sync reach the journal?
The MT5 bridge sends open/update/close events. Opens appear as Open, closes become Win / Loss / Break-even with session and P/L.
What is the chart link for?
Paste a TradingView chart URL in the trade form. Click the link in the table to preview the snapshot and trade details in a modal.
Where are Trades, Analytics and Discipline?
Use the tabs at the top of Journal: Trades (log + active positions), Analytics (stats, heatmap, key metrics chart) and Discipline (daily rules).
Dashboard
What does the dashboard show?
Your score, live session monitor, AI signal and profile stats built from the current journal filters.
How do trading sessions work?
Asia, London and New York windows are tracked from trade timestamps and the session field in each entry.
Is the AI signal a trade recommendation?
No. It is a lightweight hint based on recent performance and bias — always confirm with your own plan.
AI Center
What is in AI Center?
Emotional analytics, behavior heatmaps, AI narration, coach tips and the trading assistant chat in one place.
How do I read the behavior heatmap?
It shows where you trade best by weekday, hour, instrument and setup tag. Top zone WR ≥55%, average 42–54%, weak below 42%.
How does the AI assistant work?
It reads your local journal when you ask about days, weeks, tags or streaks. Internet is required; the assistant is free to use.
What is emotional analytics?
Summarizes streaks, tilt patterns and factor tags so you see how mood and context affect results.
Discipline
What is the Discipline tab for?
Daily checklist, recurring mistakes and a calendar that tracks rule completion plus net P/L per day.
How does the day summary calendar work?
Each day with trades shows net P/L in R at the bottom of the cell. Tap a day to open full stats on the right.
How do I add discipline items?
Discipline → Today → New item. Checkmarks count only for today; use History for past days.
What are trading rules?
The Rules tab stores your playbook templates. Mark compliance in the daily checklist to build consistency stats.
Integrations
How do I connect MetaTrader 5?
Keep MT5 logged in while Sentrage runs. The local bridge copies opens, updates and closes into the journal automatically.
Can I import old MT5 history?
Yes. Upload a CSV or JSON export from MT5 in Integrations → Manual import. Live sync still works automatically while MT5 is open.
Can I import from Notion?
Yes. Export your Notion trading journal as CSV and upload it in Integrations → Notion import. Pair, result and P/L are mapped automatically.
Can I close live positions from Sentrage?
Yes — use Close in Active Trades for MT5 positions. The journal row unlocks after the position is closed.
Subscriptions
What plans are available?
Core is free. Edge and Apex unlock advanced AI, MT5 sync and deeper reports — pay monthly, every 6 months or yearly with USDT TRC20.
How do I pay with crypto?
Choose Edge or Apex, pick a billing cycle, send the exact USDT amount to the TRC20 wallet shown, then tap confirm to activate.
How does the referral program work?

Settings
How do I hide sidebar sections?
Settings → Visible sections. Tap × on routes you do not need — they disappear from the sidebar until you turn them back on.
How do I change the theme?
Settings → Appearance. Pick a theme card — the entire workspace updates with a smooth transition.
How do I switch language?
Use the language selector in Settings or on the welcome screen. English, Russian, Ukrainian and Kazakh are supported.
